This Privacy Policy describes how iChef Future Kitchen L.L.C ("iChef", "we", "us", "our"), incorporated in the United Arab Emirates with registered address at Building, Park Avenue, Nadd Hessa, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our mobile application or website at www.ichef.ae.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our food delivery service:

• Account information: your name, email address, and phone number when you register.
• Delivery information: your delivery address(es).
• Order information: items ordered, customisation choices, and order history.
• Payment information: payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or expiry date on our servers.
• Location data: approximate location used to confirm you are within our delivery area and to suggest your nearest address. We only access location when you grant permission in the app.
• Device information: device type and operating system, used solely to ensure the app functions correctly.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or tracking tools.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data to:

• Process and fulfil your orders.
• Send you order status updates via push notification, SMS, or WhatsApp.
• Respond to your customer support enquiries.
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of our platform.
• Comply with applicable UAE laws and regulations.

We do not use your data for marketing profiling or sell it to any third party.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share your personal data only where necessary to deliver our service:

• Delivery partners: your name, phone number, and delivery address are shared with our delivery agents solely to fulfil your order.
• Stripe: payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe, Inc. for secure payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the data they handle.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on iChef servers in an unencrypted form.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you request account deletion, we will erase your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses (e.g., push notifications) at any time via app settings.
